Tony Taafe is a renowned British Headshot Photographer from Liverpool, UK. based in Scottsdale, AZ and Los Angeles, CA.
Tony arrived in Los Angeles from London in 2010, with $1300 in his pocket and the offer of a work visa which never materialized. A journalism visa and a tenacious knack for making the best of any situation led him to a career in photography. First as a photojournalist, and then as one of the most in demand Corporate and Commercial Headshot Photographers in the US and beyond. Tony’s work has taken him to 46 states in the US, and counting.
Tony’s background includes working closely with luxury brands Bentley and Audi. This experience helped him introduce the headshot photography industry to his unique method, which encompasses client experience, and the business side of headshot photography. Tony’s method changed the way headshot photographers across the world run their businesses and importantly, offered a blueprint to deliver an excellent experience to their clients.

As well as providing world class headshots in Phoenix and Los Angeles, in 2018, Tony Founded Headshot Booker. Headshot Booker is one of the largest headshot photography companies in the US. With clients all around the States, Europe, South America and SE Asia. Headshot Booker specializes in working with companies who need multi-location photography. Instead of sourcing, onboarding, and co-ordinating multiple photographers and vendors, clients work directly with HSB as a single point of contact. From there everything is handled by HSB from step one to completion. Saving valuable time while creating a streamlined, consistent process across every location.
In early 2020, Tony created Headshot Booker’s powerful “10,000 Headshots” initiative. It is the largest headshot photography project ever carried out in one day and with the great challenge of overcoming the massive hurdles of safely executing such an event during that period, the event happened on July 22nd 2020. 10,000 Headshots was carried out during the COVID unemployment crisis with the goal to provide free professional headshots to those who had lost their job, with more than 200 HSB photographers participating in all 50 states.
The event made international news. Featured all around the US, and as far as South America and Europe.
