tHANKS FOR vISITING THE SITE, GUYS
The About section on websites always draw me in. Probably for the same reason that I'm a headshot photographer, people fascinate me. The amazing thing to me about headshot photography is that you can learn a lot about somebody, just by taking a look at a photograph of their face. Being responsible for bringing out your true personality in your headshot is a big honor for me. It's in these headshots & portraits that people who don't know you, will make assumptions on your character. People who do know you will look at the photograph, maybe today, maybe in 50 years time, and think about the things they love about you. A headshot portrait is a powerful tool that we create together.
I'm a professional headshot photographer from Liverpool, England. I moved to the States in 2010 and fell in love with the place.
I've been lucky enough to have spent the time since I moved here traveling around the country on assignments for different editorial publications worldwide. photographing people, doing what I love every day. Honestly, I consider it to be the best job on the planet.
My work has been published all over the world. In publications like People Magazine, Rolling Stone Magazine, Grazia Magazine. And in countries including the UK, Australia, France, Italy, Germany & South Africa.
I'm lucky enough to have been trained in Los Angeles by world renowned headshot & portrait photographer Peter Hurley, and very proud that Peter has given me the honor of being a Mentor for his coaching group Headshot Crew. Meaning I'm one of a very small number of headshot photographers, and the only Mentor in Arizona, who Peter trusts to train the thousands of up and coming headshot photographers from around the world who are taking part in his coaching program on Headshot Crew. I fully subscribe to the idea that great technique, proper direction, and genuine expression, is the key to powerful, professional, portrait photography.
It's in LA where I met my beautiful wife, Catherine. She's a Colorado native. When I'm not in the studio or on location, you'll most likely find me off on some adventure with her and our dogs, Winston and Rocky. The rest of my family are back home in Liverpool. We're a very close family, so we try to get back there as often as possible to see them.
I get to work with some amazing companies, and have photographed Directors and Executives from Disney, Expedia, Capital One, Wells Fargo, and more, to create their bespoke headshots & portraits for company websites, advertising campaigns, and press events.
I also work with high profile actors, actresses and entertainers to create their commercial and theatrical headshots and portfolios geared towards making the best impression on casting directors and agents.
After our shoot, I''ll be on hand if required, for whatever you need. You'll have my direct telephone number for advice on anything from personal branding, to which foods you should try on your upcoming trip to England! (I'll be honest, the food isn't great!) One of the things I love most about my job is building lasting relationships with clients. These relationships are very important to me and are based on mutual respect, and trust.
So there you have it, a little about me. I look forward to getting to know you guys too!
